Description

The WWII Diary of Lieutenant General James M. Gavin.  He was the Commander of the 82nd Airborne Division during WWII. His diary discusses his operations and the fighting that followed, as well as, his observations on fellow military and political leaders such as General Dwight Eisenhower and the British Field Marshal Montgomery, on his and other units, and army operations.
