This design was specifically composed to capture the history of the 82nd Airborne Division beginning with its inception in 1917. Featured within this design are the following periods of time and/or operations: WW I, WW II, Vietnam, Operation Desert Storm, Operation Iraqi Freedom, and Operation Enduring Freedom, in Afghanistan.
